The client, a pharmaceutical company, required the installation of a training facility within its existing factory premises.

The design used a proprietary steel framing system (SFS) provided by Hadley Group, providing a series of structural sections. This means the walls of the new training rooms are self supporting, allowing continued access as required to the existing building envelope. The design, incorporating a steel frame system for the floor of the new facility, also allows for the spreading of loads to suit the needs of the new structure and the fabric of the existing building.
