Works at Ystrad Mynach railway station included the creation of a new, state of the art ticketing office with an adjacent passenger waiting room.

The project included installation of a bsepoke security glass screen with sliding payment facility, and electrical and IT connections to enable train information screens and ticketing equipment to link with central facilities.

Due to the need to work alongside a live railway line, the hours of work were restricted, while all planned works needed to be approved with consultants in advance of a start on site.
