MERIT – AUTOLUS CAR-T
Cell Manufacturing Facility

SDL have been involved in the first purpose built CAR-T Cell Manufacturing Facility in the UK, allowing us to use our broad range of skills we offer.

A four storey building of 7500m2 comprising of Grade C cleanrooms, laboratories and offices with warehouse accommodation.

SDL were the main sub-contractor for the following skills:-

- - Fireboarding of steel beams and columns
  - Partitions and Ceilings
  - Fire Doors
  - Glass partitioning and Doors
  - Passive Fire Protection

This was a fast-paced project achieving Phase One completion and handover in 17 months from start of design including planning.

SDL were proud to be involved in such an innovative project and a collaborative approach brought this pioneering facility to life.
