March 2016 saw SDL complete and hand over new testing laboratories for pharmaceuticals company Wockhardt. A complex, eight month build saw the creation of two new laboratories and an administrative facility, created inside existing industrial premises in Wrexham, north Wales. 

SDL delivered the new structures to the high standards demanded of laboratory working conditions, in a project that created around 27,000 sq ft of new workspace for the Wockhardt team. The new laboratories required specialist partitioning, raised floors, a suspended ceiling with minimal structural columns. The ventilation system and task lighting installed in the ceiling was to the exacting standards required for efficient working in a challenging laboratory environment.
