Benchmark is a specialist in developing and manufacturing vaccines that keep animals healthy. Its Essex plant required an upgrade that included the installation of a range of facilities to enable vaccine production in a safe, sterile environment, and additional administrative accommodation.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The specialist facilities within the brief included clean rooms, and a micro bioreactor hall – all needing air sealing to a high degree, and specialist air handling and extract equipment.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The project commenced in September 2015 with a completion date of August 2016, seeing SDL involved in the construction of all elements of the facility upgrade.<\/p>\n
