This project involved the conversion of an existing building – previously a boxing gym – to create a safe, attractive and enjoyable space for Sadie & Frank’s Day Nursery in Ewenny, near Bridgend.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

A full interior and exterior fit out started with the revision of access to the building, to create an entrance and doorways suitable for children, parents with pushchairs, and complying with disabled access requirements.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

SDL started with what was not much more than an empty shell. A variety of rooms were created to suit the needs of the nursery,\u00a0including playrooms for differing ages, a work kitchen, washbasins in numerous locations, and suitable toilet facilities. The rooms were finished and decorated with new flooring, wall finishes, suspended ceilings and windows. Throughout the interior, the work also included the installation of new plumbing and electrics to suit the needs of the incoming operation.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Working closely with the client, SDL was able to create a fun, vibrant and safe environment for children attending the nursery.<\/p>\n
